Magnesium Deficiency

If you have suffered symptoms of magnesium deficiency like migraines, sinusitis, asthma, heart rhythm changes, leg cramps, restless leg syndrome, carpal tunnel, eye twitching, trouble swallowing, calculate how much calcium you have been consuming from calcium supplements, multivitamins, prenatals, nutritional formulas orange juice, fruit juices supplemented with calcium. The missions of  COPP A LIFE CORP :

  1. To educate health professionals and the public about balanced meals as a means of managing and controlling obesity and diabetes in children and adults.
  2. To enable health professionals and the public to recognize nutritional adverse effects of medications and to identify medications that impair or inhibit oral and gastrointestinal absorption of nutrients.    
  3. To educate health professionals and the public about health risks caused by blocked or inhibited absorption of nutrients in the GI tract in consumers of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
  4. To collect research data on medication consumption and nutritional adverse effects of prescription and over-the-counter FDA approved medications.
  5. To research and evaluate the use of alternative routes of administration of vitamin and mineral  supplements consumers of medications that inhibit or block the oral gastrointestinal absorption of vitamins and minerals.

Medication Risks

The following nutritional losses are due to malabsorption because H2 receptor antagonists and proton pump inhibitors (the ulcer and gerd medications) inhibit acid production in the stomach.

  • Vitamin B12 deficiency causes anemia, neuropathy, high homocysteine levels and cardiovascular risk
  • Folic Acid deficiency causes birth defects, cervical dysplasia, anemia, high homocysteine levels and cardiovascular risk
  • Vitamin D  deficiency causes calcium loss, osteoporosis, muscle weakness, hearing loss
  • Calcium  deficiency causes osteoporosis,  heart and blood pressure irregularities, tooth decay
  • Iron malabsorption causes  anemia, fatigue, hair loss, brittle nails, weakness and lethargy
  • Zinc deficiency weakens immune function, skin wounds don’t heal, chronic infections, changes in sense of taste and smell, sexual organs dysfunction in both sexes
  • Protein absorption is impaired by low stomach HCl acid
